The NOMIC ice ax is the reference for ice climbing. Perfectly balanced and equipped with counterweights, it provides an exceptional swing. Its PUR'ICE blade allows effective anchoring on all types of ice. Its ice ax geometry or dual grip offers several grip modes, as well as stable hand changes. The grip in the hand is comfortable, thanks to the ergonomics of the handle and the adjustable GRIPREST support piece. Equipped with a minimalist mallet, the head is protected and allows a piton to play. Fully modular, the ice ax can be optimized depending on the route.

- Multiple grip modes and stable hand changes, thanks to the double grip (high and low).
- Low offset handle to protect the hand from contact with ice and provide more comfort in suspension.
- High molded and bi-material handle that provides excellent grip, while insulating against the cold.
- Hydroformed handle for optimal grip in the middle of the handle.
- Complete modularity, thanks to the ALPEN ADAPT system:
- Completely modular head that allows you to adapt the technicality of the ice axe.
- ICE, PUR'ICE, DRY and PUR'DRY blades can be interchanged to adapt to different climbing objectives (snow, ice or mixed).
- Interchangeable shovel and mace.
- Served with MINI MARTEAU to protect the head of the ice ax and ring pitons.
- Without accessories, the ice ax is lightened for dry tooling (only 500 g).
- GRIPREST NOMIC support piece molded and adjustable in three positions to adapt to any hand size, even with thick gloves. The lower part has a stainless steel serrated handle that improves support when the ice ax is used as an ice ax-cane.
