The Sm'D is a compact and lightweight D-shaped locking carabiner that can be used in many situations, easy to handle even with gloves and available in two versions of locking systems.
Description
- Great versatility:
- D-shape that guarantees its effectiveness, regardless of the direction of use, to respond to multiple uses: connection of the belay system, of a pulley, at the tip of the lanyard...
- Good compactness and great lightness.
- Good hand grip and ergonomics:
- Shape in D that favors a good hold with the hand.
- Section in H that contributes to a better grip with gloves.
- Keylock system to avoid any involuntary hooking of the carabiner.
- Hole that allows connecting to the carabiner, thanks to a cord, a TIBLOC or a MICRO TRAXION to turn them into safety pins.
- Available in two versions of the locking system adapted to each situation:
- SCREW-LOCK: easy to open system, lockable or not depending on the user's needs. A visible red indicator indicates that the carabiner is unlocked. This system is suitable for difficult environments where impurities (mud, ice) could seize an automatic locking system.
- TWIST-LOCK: specific use in which opening speed is paramount (at the tip of a lanyard, for example) and to connect a GRIGRI to the harness.
