The BASIC is a compact ascender that offers excellent handholding for fixed rope ascents. The wide lower connection hole allows for the attachment of the lanyard carabiner as well as the pedal carabiner.

- Compact blocker that offers excellent hand grip.
- It can be used for fixed rope ascents or as a backstop on a pulley.
- Toothed cam with evacuation slot to optimise operation in any condition (frozen, muddy ropes, etc.).
- Stainless steel cam for improved corrosion resistance.
- The wide bottom connection hole accepts two carabiners (lanyard and pedal).
- Top connection hole for guiding the rope.
