SWAMP COOLER ZIP® AURORA TEAL Cooling Vest

The Swamp Cooler Zip effectively cools dogs during high-intensity adventures by using evaporative cooling and keeping the sun's rays off their fur.

The lightweight, stylish Swamp Cooler Zip cooling vest uses spandex fabric for shading in the back and Ruffwear's Swamp Cooler® technology in the chest and side panels to create an evaporative cooling effect that disperses body heat away from your dog, increasing performance and happiness.

To take advantage of Swamp Cooler® technology, submerge the vest or pour water over it, put the vest on and you're good to go.

New for this redesign: We’ve updated the Swamp Cooler Zip (formerly known as the Jet Stream) with new materials to hold more water and provide longer cooling time, plus new colors and construction for improved fit and performance.

How does Swamp Cooler® technology work?

Let me explain, it's like when you get out of a lake and you get a cool feeling when your skin feels the air again - this is evaporative cooling! Ruffwear® cooling gear creates the same effect by combining an outer absorbent layer that facilitates evaporation, a middle layer that retains the water that is going to evaporate and a comfortable inner layer that transfers the cooling effect to your dog.
